I like challenges like this, but I can't find a definite answer. The piece dates from 1907. Seems to have been a "one hit wonder"... some sites call him Albert, others Arthur...

Other requests for the same info have been posted on USENET, but no definite answer. Nobody knows!! lol laugh.gif

Even Grove turns up a blank on this one....

Thankyou! I have the piece in a "Flutewise" book and it says that there are no records about him or what else he wrote. I was going to play it for the ABRSM recordings, but as it isn't definite, I won't.

Since no-one has a clue, I doubt you'd be purposefully infringing anyone's copyright. I would assume he died prior to 1935 which would be the starting point for the MCPS to get involved..
