Hey,
For ages I've been thinking about taking grade 6 sax @ christmas. I'm self taught, my piano teacher can accompany me, so thats all ok, but I cant decide whenther to go in for it or not. I think my money has too be in VERY soon. I dont want to make a complete fool of myself, or be told Im rubbish cause I'm self taught. I can play some grade 6 stuff, but cant decide. I just chnaged schools, thers loads more clubs etc there, but I think I could cope.

Can anyone give me advice???? huh.gif huh.gif huh.gif unsure.gif unsure.gif

Maybe you can play your pieces for your piano teacher and ask him/her. He/she can at least tell you if you are making a fool out of yourself or that you are fine. biggrin.gif

Why do you want to take exams? That's worth thinking about carefully. Meanwhile if you were my student I would be advising you in any case to allow yourself this term to settle in the new school environment without any extra pressures.

Good luck, and just enjoy your sax playing!
