Tess
Hi,
We are looking for the lyrics/words for some ABBA, Simon/Garfunkel and Carpenters music/songs. Any ideas whether there's any website, etc, for very old pop songs like these? We only have the CDs.

Thanks a million!

Tess,

If one of my pupils wants to play a "pop" song of whatever era, I get them to Google the name of the song and add + chords or + lyrics. It's a really good way to help people to improvise - no dots and lines, just words and chords.

Hey, do you mind? Not so much of the "very old" please - some of us remember these being released, and we're not quite in our dotage yet!!!! biggrin.gif Although my children might beg to differ........

Beg your pardon? It was VN's expression. She LOVES ABBA and the Carpenters. At 8, we are all old to her! biggrin.gif

These LYRICS are grrrreat!!! We'll be having an ABBA party in her room next weekend with anything that looks like a ladle to double as a mike! Maybe the hairdryer will do... rolleyes.gif

Thanks, ALL. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
