Just to say how much I enjoyed the concert today + a big thank you to Jo for organising. Particularly enjoyed recorder ensemble which reminded me how fun it is to play with others.

Already looking forward to next event.

Oooh, I didn't speak to you. You might have noticted at about 5pm, a group os people looking confused as a phone was passed to them, and it was told that I was on the phone. Everyone said it was excellent though. Are you in any of the photos (on the Coming Soon thread)? smile.gif

Booney,
We, too! We, too! smile.gif biggrin.gif Thanks so MUCH, Jo.

The recorder ensemble was fantastic. Can't believe that you folks only managed to practise on the day! We want to be there again! Problem is, I don't think Feb has any half term date. VN's orchestras and choir normally finishes late at 1.20pm every Saturday except at school holidays. 1.20pm plus 2 hours travel to Egham even with lunch on the train will mean that we'll miss Katyjay's concert altogether. sad.gif

Nicki,
I honestly don't know HOW we missed your phone. blink.gif ohmy.gif huh.gif I'm completely bewildered as I'm sure we were there! I remember glancing at my watch at 6pm just before we left and tut-tutting to VN about my hubby's punctuality. In the end we walked most of the way home which was a very long distance walk and took a bus when VN was exhausted one last bus stop away. She had been at music school all morning yesterday from 9 to 1.20! That's why Car Expert beat us! He went home I should think by CAR - what else! laugh.gif

Glad you enjoyed it Booney.
Look forward to seeing you at the next one.

Tess, it will be a shame if you and VN can't make it next time. It will be half term for my boys, but I know it varies between counties and different schools. It was nice to meet you and VN is soooooo cute!

Never mind, Suepea. There are quite a few of us:
Suepea
Brian
Pavel
Booney
Tess
VN
and maybe, Mark?

So, you are not alone. Besides it's the thought that counts. Eh, Nicki? smile.gif
