Anyone played this? It's great to play in concerts, exams, practicals etc in my experience. Even though I don't play it perfectly, not in any way, I still get near full marks every time. Thoroughly recommended.

Unfortunately, due to performance rights issues, we won't be able to put it on the site until 2061.

Strangely enough, I bought the score for this piece a few years ago and never got round to looking at it....

I played it as part of my DipABRSM - good fun

I played the piano accordion arrangement for this year's South Pacific piano accordion championships. It is a great piece on that instrument too. smile.gif

You'll have to buy it! Since the composer did not die long enough ago there are all sorts of copyright issues, not to mention the copyright held by the editor. Therefore it can't be put on the web freely or copied by anyone else.

It's a shame you don't like it - it's actually very good fun, and very clever, although I suppose if you just listen without imagining what's happening, then it might just sound like a piece of 20th century contemporary music. If you try to imagine the cat chasing the mouse, or conjure up a picture of Tom and Jerry, the music will become more like a film score, and more enjoyable because there's a visual image to go with it..... That's how I've sometimes managed to 'sell' more contemporary sounding music to my pupils - talking about atmosphere and imagery.....

If you guys want to google piano street, there is a forum there, and the administrator Nils J. has obtained permission to have recent works downloaded there in the audition room. I'm pretty sure you could post it there is you wanted. There is a thread there titled, Good News, or something along those lines that states the copyright information he has.
