Hi
got a very nice wooden flute but its sharp a semitone sharp and the only way I can tune it is puling the top out a bit,
I've tried sticking the cleaning rod up it and the line on its in the middle if the hole so that's ok:)
I've moved the crock up and down but didn't make a big diffrence,
I do clean it out after playing,
and its not the way I blow because other flutes I've tried are in tune but they are not wooden,
what can I do?

Generally flutes have to be played pulled out slightly to be in tune so thats probably why!

yeh flutes always have to be pulled out, it just depends how much in relation to temperature and accompanying instruments
