do u know any particular chord progressions (i dont know if theyre called that), which suit a certain mood.
By chord progression i mean, Cmaj, Fmj, Gmaj. like that

yeah, so some chord progressions for a sad song, some for a happy lively song, and so on,

Not to sure what you mean but try, A min down to a Dmin then up to a F maj and finaly down to aE maj/min.

More of a negative feel than positive. Hope it helps! smile.gif

I read that post, tried it, then returned to PC about to reply that it 'sounds like one of Noodelz' compositions'...then saw the poster! tongue.gif

A fairly typical major chord progression can be:

ii, V, iii, iv, IV, ii, V, I

Flows well using the following inversions:

iia, Vb, iiia, ivb, IVa, iic, Va, Ib

It's a bit of a 'standard' chord sequence though, so try changing some of the chords slightly (augment etc)/altering which note is in the bass to make it a bit more interesting smile.gif
