Wow! I accompany the med school choir at Christmas, the musical (42nd Street this year), and our annual variety show for soloists/groups/dancers etc. Also my students sitting other exams if they want/need me to do it.

cool!! i play the Piano for our local drama group and we have just done Annie!!
Did you enjoy it Melody Maker?? I am so excited .. two and a half weeks to go! We have 2 keyboards, drums and a bass guitarist in our little show band. What did you have?
The hardest thing is transposing the songs when different people are singing ( we are double cast ) .. but good for transposing by sight and sight reading practise. Plus we play on this bit of a 'wing' thing on the side of the stage so we are in full view .. well that's the idea but last show no-one even saw me as the bass guitarist was in front! My favourite bit is the Megamix

I a bit behind here but I love the Poulenc sonata for flute. The only piano accompaniment I can play is to 'walking in the air' from 'the snowman'. Mind you, I've only been playing piano for about 6 months!

The Poulenc clarinet sonata is also brilliant - the slow movement plus the one from the flute sonata are absolutely beautiful! Poulenc really could compose gorgeous melodies!
I do some accompanying for ballet exams and just did for two violin students two months ago.
