im with nat all the way on this one.....GCSB is a total loser......this is about the 3rd or so thread in which he has
1) been attention seeking ...which must go against one of the forum rules
2) been annoying the #### out of everyone
why do people like this have to badger everyone else the whole time????

This is honestly getting unpleasant. If any of you really don't like someone why not simply ignore their posts. There is no need to "ignore user" just don't respond to the posts. It's very simple.
I've noticed at least one or two responders getting obsessive about the poster subject of this topic to the point of neurosis.
Simply, it will put off new posters. Since I joined 10 weeks ago the site has gained almost 750 new registrations. How many of them have posted?

I think part of the problem is that this has all happened before - in July/August. So it's a case of deja vu. (Or however you spell it - my French isn't very good!) So if folk seem a bit annoyed and over-the-top in their reactions it's because all this advice has been given before, and rejected (for the most part, although to be fair, not all.) I think people get very angry and frustrated when their advice and help is ignored and in fact thrown back at them, and unfortunately tempers get frayed all round. And on this occasion, even more so because it's all been seen before.

well as i said before one more chance then should all make a request to the mods to remove him and his other four accounts (polanaises, etude in gold, etc etc) or simply ignore him and thats my last word on the subject

This could be a good general rule: when people are being rude or arrogant, just ignore them completely (I mean, stop replying on their posts) then conflicts won't get a chance to escalate. Whenever they change and prove they are not that bad, we can give them new chances.

but he DID apologise for all the names and stuff...and if we 'technically' gave him another chance then why is it all being brought up again?

That is the usual good advice about trolls, or suspected trolls. A gentle 'Do not feed the trolls' post can remind others of the policy.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: if you don't post anything disagreeable, nobody will complain. But to continue posting (and even starting a new thread) about how people should leave you be will only achieve the opposite effect and encourage the idea that you are arrogant and an attention seeker.
Do to others as you would have them do to you.
