Sohrab Uduman
Biography
Sohrab Uduman was born in 1962 in Ratnapura, Sri Lanka and now lives in England. He read music at the University of Surrey and then studied composition at the University of Birmingham with Vic Hoyland and Jonty Harrison. In 1993 he completed his PhD. Sohrab lectured at the University of Durham from 1991 until 1996 and is currently head of department at the University of Keele.
Sohrab’s works have been performed at many European festivals and include music theatre, works for orchestra, chamber ensembles, voice and solo instruments, with and without electronics.
