Washington High Scorers' Concert

On June 7, 2008 at Bellevue Christian Church, Bellevue Washington, 40 candidates who achieved Merit and Distinction results in their practical exams of May 2008 were invited to perform at the High Scorers' Concert.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of souvenirs to successful candidates and the first ever award of 'Top Scorer' prizes to those individuals who obtained the best mark for each grade. The award recipients were ecstatic that their hard work had been acknowledged.

This event has a vital role in encouraging and motivating both teachers and candidates to maximise their musical potential. It also provides a great opportunity to bring the candidates together in one room, sharing their musical interpretations with one another and the public.
