To avoid 28-day exam deadlines falling during the Christmas holiday period we’re closing booking for all digital exams from 23.59 on 24 November to 00.00 on 5 December (UK times). We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
Face-to-face instrumental and singing exams
These exam dates are for Practical Grades and ARSM diplomas, Prep Tests, Performance Assessments and Practical Musicianship exams. For Ensemble and Choral Singing exams, see "Group Exams".

Performance Grades and digital ARSM diploma
Online Music Theory (Grades 1 to 5)
Online Music Theory exams are available on demand. You can book at any time. After booking, candidates have 28 days to take their exam. They can choose any date and time during this period.
Due to system updates taking place, candidates will not be able to take exams on the dates/times below.

The following charges should be paid direct to ABRSM's office in London by sterling draft presentable in the UK or by credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Sterling drafts should be payable to ‘The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music’.

These additional charges and any foreign exchange rate applied to the transaction are made by your bank, card issuer or PayPal and not by ABRSM. Charges will vary, depending on the payment method and the bank or institution you use to make the payment.
