Looking forward to Andre Rieu concert at Liverpool Area this evening  . Tickets were a birthday present from our children to F#Major.

He's not really my cup of tea, but I am sure it will be fun.

Having had a grim, GRIM couple of weeks, one was cheered up nicely yesterday.

One of my colleagues where I volunteer at the river phoned me and just held the phone up so all I heard was the sound of the water running through the head lock gates.

Magic.  Everything cured.

I'm all gigged out and very happy that it's all gone so well.  Our band played at a couple of busking gigs yesterday and this morning, and I gather we've raised over £600 for charity.  It was very cold on both occasions but I love playing carols and festive music so I don't mind too much.  This evening we've played at a community get-together and that's it for this year.  I'm a bit sad that it's over for another year but it's all been very enjoyable santa2.gif

There is something so very calming about water, Bag.   Especially when in conjunction with the words, 'lock gates'.

I'm glad they're nouns and not imperatives

What's made my happy is having a day off from work (I really do not like christmas in retail) and then watching an amazing choir concert this evening.

Donated all my spare change to them as I believe in the same message that the founders of the choir believe in.

Music makes people happy so why not spread it (paraphrasing a bit here). The power of singing really does help!

Banj, it was a total pleasure to have helped wub.png

My happy is qualifying in event management with distinction!  I don't think I shall quite believe it until I see the certificate!
