Yes... but you're still over 5000 posts ahead of me....... somehow I think that'd take QUITE some time to catch up to even if you stopped posting entirely....

Anyway... offTopic.gif

Indeed biggrin.gif

I'm hoping I can get to Woodford this year (as I'll be living in Norfolk from September). I need to see if it's possible to get the train down from Norfolk to Woodford, or I may be able to get my dad to drive me down there, but it may be a bit awkward. I'll try my best. smile.gif

Seeing as I started this thread in my previous incarnation, I'll do a quick update summary on some of the events which are being organised for the delectation and delight of forum members party1.gif I'm sorry I can't list all of them - it would take too long - so I've just listed the events which tend to attract forum members from all around the country rather than just the local area.

23rd Sept - the playday in Leeds being organised by Floss and mwl1. Very informal, all play together in an ensemble - great for sightreading practice and much more fun than slogging through a sightreading book! There's still time to get your application in - go on, take the plunge, you know you want to! biggrin.gif

29th Sept - Adult Learners Concert in London, organised by Vicky Violin.

24th Nov - Adult Learners event in Chester, organised by Tenor Viol.

29 Dec - Players for Pleasure concert in Leeds, organised by me, Polkadot (formerly skylark). The new web site with all the details will be published shortly.

23 Feb - Adult Learners concert in Egham, organised by Katyjay

Apart from the Players for Pleasure concert, there is a thread with details for each of the above events and more in the Events forum. Hope everybody has a great time at whichever event you go to.

PS. If you're new to forum events, the first few posts in this thread give a general explanation on what they're all about - here's a link to the first post.
