Just a reminder, folks, that if you haven't yet sent me a booking form and fee, I don't know you're coming!

Places aren't secured until they're paid for, I'm afraid.

Cheers

OK folks.   It's accompanist allocation day.

As usual, my filing system has failed to keep up with the concert.  So please could you remind me whether

-  You have volunteered to accompany anyone who needs it

-  You have agreed to accompany someone specific

-  You need an accompanist

-  You have asked someone specific to accompany you.

Thanks

Dear everyone

I've got to that stage in proceedings where I have to do the draw and start drafting the programme.

And so, I've also got to that stage in proceedings where I can't find everyone's repertoire choices, even if you sent them in on your form (and, of course, if you sent in a form with TBA on it, I *definitely* can't find your repertoire choice...)

Therefore, please could you let me know, by message or e-mail or carrier pigeon or whatever, what you're performing. Even if you think you've told me already, please tell me again.

Thanks

And, finally for now, please could you let me know if you're planning to stay for the meal after the event.

Thanks

Check your train times on Saturday: SWR guards and some drivers are working to rule all weekend and so cancellations are likely.
My I’m cheerful

Thanks, Barry - I thought to check my trains getting in to London, and the Tube, before I even considered attending laugh.png  But I completely didn't think about the Other Side (other than that national rail journey planner said OK!)

No problem : it’s not really been publicised a great deal but SWR have been fighting with the union since they got the franchise back in August and the service has been pretty poor ever since.

Signed a weary regular commuter on SWR...

SWR say they are going to try to run full service, but you never know what might happen - and weekends may behave differently to weekdays (better or worse).  Probably best not hanging around waiting for people, but getting on the first train you can heading in the right direction, just in case biggrin.png

Sensible. You will probably be OK, but random cancellations seem to be an SWR speciality on industrial action days...
If SWR are really having a bad day, go to Heathrow Terminal 5 and catch First bus route 8 from there to Egham - bus is half hourly and takes about 30 min Heathrow-Egham.
