Hi folks

This is just to let people know the date for next year's Adult Learners' Concert.

It'll be on Saturday 18th February 2017, at the United Church of Egham.

Lots more details, and the Concert Website, will be put up nearer the time - this is just to get it into everyone's new diary

:)

THE WEBSITE IS NOW OPEN: HERE

Katyjay, would it be OK to come and watch - it's not looking good for me to arrive in the morning, but I may be able to do something with the afternoon :)

Hi Barry

As you know, the concert is not open to the general public, and the audience is mostly the family and friends of the performers.

However, we do encourage people who don't necessarily feel up to performing this time to come along, find out what it's like and test the water before performing when they're up to it in a future event.

Sympathetic listening is, after all, one of the best contributions possible to the success of the event.

Any tootlers interested in a group tootle? I'm still keen to do the C-recorders quartet (garklein/descant/tenor/great bass) I found one day, though open to any suggestions if anyone else has anything sensibler to try :D

Yes if around and willing to take a pretty grotty recorder sight reader on as unlikely to be around during the day. Won't be offended if no.
Katyjay : thanks :)

Not too long to go now. Looking forward to seeing everybody and sharing our music.

If you had this on your 'to do' list there's still time to make it your New Year resolution.

OK, any advance on one-and-a-half recorderists for an ensemble piece? (Only kidding, b-c :D)

Just a quick reminder - there are a few spaces left for those who haven't yet got their forms filled in and sent off....

4th recorderist anyone? You may be relegated to the garklein part for a late application... ;)

Final call for spaces for Egham 2017.

In particular, pianists who are prepared to do a spot of accompanying will be VERY welcome :)
