Indeed! Such a surprise of half price for one day course.
Already I am looking forward to attend to it. It is whole day workshop, so nice to learn many technical skills but also to meet new friends! (very important!)
Of course for a drink afterwards?

I'm sure we can have a drink or two after the playday, yes smile.gif

This is advance notice of a date for next year and I'll start a thread nearer the time.

The recent Dyrham Park recital and the cottage some of us stayed at were both so successful that I've arranged to do it all over again on Saturday 24 April 2010 (and possibly the 25th as well) party1.gif The recital will be for advanced pianists and woodwind players, and will be combined with a "musical house party" at the cottage for beginner/intermediate pianists and woodwinds.

I'd be grateful if you could put "Dyrham Park recital and musical house party" on 24 April into the calendar, Barry - thank you smile.gif

From Kings Cross the easiest route is probably the Piccadilly Line to Piccadilly Circus, then the Bakerloo to Waterloo. Avoid the Northern Line that Saturday, it'll be messed up due to engineering works.

Would be great to see you there Flossie, and I'm happy to meet you somewhere en route to travel down together. smile.gif

I don't know what you were thinking about this, but if it was useful, I could almost certainly provide a city centre venue for an event.

I'll be in touch David smile.gif

Hi Barry

I've just noticed that you've put the following in the first post but it's not a playday and it's not for strings and I'm not sure what the opportunities will be yet! I don't want to mislead anybody so I'd be grateful if you could change the description to "Recital and Musical House Party for pianists and woodwind; further details in due course". Many thanks smile.gif
