After my disastrous exam I feel like giving up.
Never give up on something you love! Although exams are great and really boost confidence if you get a good grade, they're not a true reflection of the persons pianist abilities. If the exams have brought you down, why don't you leave them for a while and work on some pieces outside the exam syllabus?
I sadly don't play half what I used to. Ironically, I'm a music student but I chose not to do the performance side of things, more the musicology and composition so right now my essays and projects take priority over piano practice.
