Piano Adventures has just published this chart that correlates the levels of various piano methods and ABRSM grades.

Thank you very much for posting, Judith J- very interesting. I use Piano Adventures and am not familiar with all of the other series but what is stated is pretty much what I've been doing. Only exception is that I don't use level 3 very much but prefer to branch out with other non PA material when they're a bit of the way into 2B. So my experience of level 3 is more as extra repertoire and a bit of light relief after grade 1 rather than before on the occasions I've used it.

I use the earlier ones to run up to LCM steps too.
MFPA leads nicely into pre-prep
End of book 1 leads nicely into Step 1
End of 2A, beg of book 2B... Step 2

That's very useful JudithJ -- I normally only use the books as far as 2A but the later ones can be useful between grades.  Maybe post this on the Teachers' forum?
