Son took DipABRSM earlier this week. His form said 8 weeks, Looked on the website and it suggests up to three months.
Just wondered what anyone with recent experience would suggest is likely?

I think the longer timescale would be more accurate.

Yup - towards the end of the 8 weeks they give themselves. I think my Summer Diploma result came though in mid-late September. :)

Thanks all for the responses. He's now assuming 3 months so anything quicker will be a bonus.

Results turned up today - a good pass. Results took almost exactly 8 weeks.

Thanks becster. It's his first diploma so really wasn't sure about the expected standard and so didn't know if he had passed or not. He got 68 - so I'm now mocking him for missing a distinction by only two marks . He's already looking at the pieces for LRSM.

Saxman99 - Good luck - hope your results come in soon. My son has asked which pieces you did - he chose Telemann, Maurice and Gal?
