Ahhh, thanks for that! It was my brother who said there was no such key signature in a sense, because it's usually under a different name, but the key signature being too advanced for me, I didn't really have a clue!!! biggrin.gif
I'm glad it's correct as I thought that would spoil the joke a bit if it wasn't!

It would be a horrendous key signature, but in theory it exists, and you can play it, even if you'd be unlikely to write it that way! It would be, I *think*, the relative minor of Cb major laugh.gif ie 7 flats, I think! ohmy.gif and the minor would end up with accidentals too just for fun...!

I think that's right, anyway - trying to think in that many flats is doing my brain in...!

A man kills his wife. Many people watch him doing so.

Yet no one will ever be able to accuse him of murder. Why?

And yet another one!

was he a surgeon who killed his wife during an operation? The people watching him are the rest of the medical staff.

No one's got them yet. So the answers:

The thief one: This is a true story which happened in Taiwan.

When the rich man reached the phone booth he found a carrier pigeon in a cage. It had a message attached telling the man to put the diamond in a small bag which was around the pigeon's neck and to release the bird.

When the man did this the police were powerless to follow the bird as it returned across the city to its owner.

The killer one: He is a hangman and she happened to be sentenced to death.

And the Train one: The station clock is 3 minutes fast.

The morning journey took 65 minutes, and the evening journey therefore took 52 minutes, and the train arrived 57 minutes after it should have left, that is, 3 minutes early.

It would have to bite you first. I hate biting insects. We have some particularly nasty ones at school.
