@Aquarelle - If the avatar is your dog then she's gorgeous! Ours is a small collie size. We live next to a bridle path and fields so I understand the mud! You wouldn't think that fields could get *that* muddy! I hope you get some sun soon and a nice wind!!!

It rose to 4.4C overnight and is now 1.6C. Absolutely beautiful light here!!!

No Zixi, my avatar is my previous dog whom I loved to bits and only had for 2 years as she came to me from the vet who was seeking to find her a home and she was already elderly and unwell. Mattie was a standard poodle. The one I have now is a toy poodle  and she is grey, not apricot as Mattie was. I love her to bits too.

So you too know about country life and the effect the rain has on it! I must say I notice the weather a lot more here than when we lived in London. Today it has - of course - rained most of the time! However the forecast for tomorrow is brighter.

Colder than over the past few days. We had a bright, sunny morning but the sky is now cloudy. I'm getting desperate about cutting the grass but it remains too wet.

Worryingly stormy; wondering whether the ferry will arrive tonight with our Hogmanay guest. blink.png

I've just returned from a New Year walking break in Abergavenny where the temperature hovered around an unseasonably mild 10 degrees. On the penultimate day of 2018 we were sitting outside at the Sugar Loaf Vineyard. And not a drop of rain!

Very cold here today. I have lagged the outside taps just in case. The forecast is +2 but I don't think I believe it.
