Weird! It was lovely and sunny, before a sudden massive gust of wind, accompanied by sleety hail. Or haily sleet, as the case may be.
Was glad I'd been for a walk earlier!

Very cold.

Train journey tomorrow, Cambridge to Stoke-on-Trent, changing at Tottenham Hale (!) Hope that's not too long a wait, I seem to remember that station is rather exposed.

Snow yet again. snow.gif

I really love snow, but even I am beginning to think that I have seen enough of it for this winter.

And more!!blink.png

We have had a shovel in the boot of the car since the first lot in December in case of further mishaps.

Two little flurries of snow today but I think that's it for the winter - due to get warmer from now on here.

Two days without rain and with above freezing temperatures. I cannot believe it. The lawn (no, the field) is covered with daisies!

Still wet and muddy but the sun is shining (coldly) this morning. I am rarely depressed by the weather but this long, long period of almost non-stop rain has rather sapped my morale. Pity we can't send some of it to the drought ridden parts of Africa.
