Hi everyone,
Are there any women singers out there, in the alto range who are interested in joining a group that meets on a Thursday night in Warrington? We sing unaccompanied harmony in a similar vein to the Kings Singers and Manhattan Transfer (remember them?). It's a mixed group, about half can read music and it's a definite advantage but not essential. The really important thing is a good ear, ability to hold a harmony line, and ability to sing without vibrato. At the last count there were fourteen of us and if anyone's in the Liverpool area on 11th December we are singing in the Palm House in SeftonPark at 7.30pm. Oh and we're called 'Just Midnight'. If you're interested we'd love to hear from you! smile.gif

Hi Cheshire Kate

Do you want me to put Just Midnight on the Playing Opportunities Near You thread which is pinned at the top of the Forum Events sub-forum?

You may already know about the following web sites, to ask for your group to have a listing, but just in case...

Amateur Orchestras

Amateur Musician
