Does anyone live in Dorset that is learning to play the harp?
My daughter 15 plays the pedal harp grade 7 and it would be nice if there were any other Harpers nearby
please say hello x

My harp playing daughter is also 15, but we're much further East, I'm afraid - though on a similar latitude!

I'm originally from Somerset (though don't live there now) so don't like it being forgotten!

Hampshire - I have a Pilgrim lever harp. Seriously, you wouldn't want to play with me as I am very out of practise and fairly rubbish, but I'm quite fun for a chat. smile.gif

Will anyone be watching "Wild Shepherdess" on BBC2, 9pm Friday 21st? It's that daft blond wildlife presenter Kate Humble.
I expect she'll be seen playing the harp or flute!

Thanks for reminding me! Yes I expect it will all be romanticised - lots of gushing and cute little lambs! (Don't mention the abattoir!) Oh dear, we are so offTopic.gif Best mention some harps quick! harp.gif harp.gif harp.gif
