7th clue is Lombard. I googled Superbowl trophy and it is called Lombardi. Take off I for Italian and you get Lombard who was a theologian.
Can't do the other two. Do the new answers give you any more letters?

I don't really understand why the other clue is ended, though it means over, but what has the fixed and toppled got to do with it?

MENDED is a synonym for FIXED, and removing its top gives ENDED.
