And deservedly so!  There was a programme about him a couple of months ago and he seems to be a wonderful ambassador for young people and classical music, and with a very wise head on his young shoulders.

Chi-chi Nwanoku mentioned in her Desert Island Discs interview that there were four members of Chineke! in BBC Young Musician this year. She must be feeling so proud smile.png

(No spoilers please - I've only seen the strings category final so far)

And for those whose invitation to the royal wedding got lost in the post (ahem) - Sheku will be performing as part of the Kanneh-Mason Piano Trio at the Proms at St Jude's in June.
