I actually ended up working all day so I wouldn't have been able to make it.

How was it today?

(Barry, sending/sent you a pm)

Yeah - it was very good. New venue considerably more spacious than Regent Hall.
Very tired now though.

Who liked my beautiful flute solo in the final piece : totally accurate apart from it being about a bar and a half out

Well played, Barry. Hope you don't get too much grief on Monday. And all the cool kids messed up at least one entry. At least you didn't take most of your section with you when you did...

A bar and a half? that's nothing. Plenty of people got more out than that!

It sounded lovely Barry.smile.png

After a couple of years where it's been on dates I can't make - I'll be at Leeds on Saturday.  I'm looking forward to catching up with Bassoonista - any other forumites going?

If anyone has been recently - is the café still there?  I was surprised when Shea didn't mention it as a lunch option in his email as last time I went it had just been extended.

As you have now obviously deduced, I wasn’t there  - how did it go? :)

It was a nice day - it was a shame that Paul Harris couldn't make it due to illness but we played some interesting music.  Unfortunately I had to miss the last session as my quintet were playing in the evening and time would have been too tight. Hopefully will be able to make it next year.
