Well done Clovis - such a relief to have it done, isn't it?

I keep having moments where I can't remember having played parts or even questioning whether I left out a whole piece...I'm sure I didn't, but I think I must have been in complete panic mode during the whole thing. Strongly doubting now whether I'll scrape a pass but still so glad that I did it. Fantastic experience and if I don't pass, I would definitely take it again. (But maybe play from the copy rather than memory next time!)

Got to try and put it out my mind now whilst waiting for the results x

Anyone else had their results yet? Mine arrived on Saturday.
LRSM distinction - a very, very happy Clovis here.

piano.gif Congratulations ! woot.gif  That was an interesting progamme you did. .I thought about doing LRSM piano when I retired 6 years ago, but as my A Dip is not ABRSM, they would have  made me do DipA first, and at 71 now , and not teaching and rarely performing, there really isn't much incentive to do an L Dip of any board.  I just play for personal satisfaction.   I had more or less prepared 3 L dip pieces though.

Congratulations!

I gave up on the idea of an L diploma because I'm not interested in playing a conventional programme. But you getting a distinction with a non-conventional programme shows that it can be done, and you have actually inspired me to think again about taking the exam myself. So thank you (and huge congrats again!)

Thank you! The examiners had some very nice things to say about the programming. Don’t let any unconventional choices put you off at all. I went right up to the limit on non-syllabus pieces and it wasn’t a problem at all.

What are you thinking of playing? I’m very intrigued now.

Fantastic result Clovis -congratulations! Such an intriguing programme which you have probably told us about (I'll check) but I admit I haven't heard of much of your list and would love to know how you settled on it.

Worth a phone call as some results have come through.  Some are held back for moderating/checking.

Congratulations! I would love to do this some day, but I can't handle 2 instruments (piano is the flavour of the month)

Congratulations to everyone who have successfully passed the diploma exams!

I have already contacted the abrsm representative (Philippines) he said he has yet to receive the results... I guess it would take longer for non UK candidates to receive their results ^_^

Yup, It'll be the international postage! (Not entirely sure why the ABRSM don't issue results online like most learning institutions, it would certainly help!)
