Come on Tranmere!

(0 - 0 at half time v Crewe).  We need a fourth consecutive victory.  Where are you James Norwood ?

Yay James Norwood, scored in 72 min. That's four wins in a row. Puts us up to 5th, but we've played an extra game.

Still goalless between Orient and Wrexham in the early kick-off...

Rotherham have lost 2-0 to Sheff Utd. Hopefully Reading can capitalise later...

EDIT: Just as I wrote that, Orient have just scored! :D

After getting an equaliser on the stroke of half-time, Readng are now 2-1 down. Millwall are losing 2-0 to Bolton.

ohmy.pngohmy.pngohmy.png I don't believe this! We equalised in the 89th minute, and now we've only gone and won it in the 97th minute! What a big moment that could be! We're 3 points clear now! And we move ahead of Millwall and Wigan! biggrin.png

Elsewhere, Solihull lost to Salford, which means automatic promotion is back in Orient's hands.

A pretty good afternoon for me then! wink.png

Dear me, Reading didn't even get a mention on Final Score when Jason Mohammed did the tables. It's "as you were" - no it isn't! mad.gif

Yes CE were both doing quite well at the moment, but of course Wrexham are not far away from us and you are getting the better of them  (PS staying in Norwich a couple of days, week after next at the Maids Head. Will dine at our nieces restaurant 'Jorges' its doing really well)

Not to be 3 wins in a row for Reading as we lost to Leeds. At least Bolton and Wigan lost as well...

Barrow look like they're playing a big part in the NL promotion race as they have now won away at Wrexham. Orient won at Aldershot to extend the gap to 3 points, with Solihull moving up to 2nd. Problem is now, we don't play another league game until the 26th March due to the FA Trophy, so we may well lose top spot again...

A fifth consecutive win for Tranmere 4 - 1.  Another goal for James Norwood, he's way ahead in League 2 now with 25.  Tranmere still in 5th place though as there's a 4 pt gap to MK Dons and  Mansfield above us. (Then Bury with Lincoln at the top).  Actually I once went to a game at Mansfield  (Field Mill is the ground) in my Nottingham student days when neither Forest or County had a match one Saturday. I think it was 1966 or 67.

Just going back to Norwood, he's had far more shots on goal than any other League 2 player (103), and hes had 64% on target  (though two strikers have 65%,and one 66%). He scores a goal every 130 minutes, though Maynard of Bury is better at 119 minutes.

Millwall and Rotherham both won tonight, so just a single point separates the 4 of us...

And all 4 Premier League teams have made the Champions League quarter-finals!

England's Euro 2020 qualifying campaign couldn't have got off to a better start!

And it looks like another team will join Reading in the Championship relegation battle...

Later edit,  and they won  2 - 0.  Remain 5th place though.

Orient are going to Wembley! biggrin.png

And to make our day even better, Solihull and Wrexham both lost in the league, so amazingly, we're still top, with games in hand as well!
