Designed to develop the musical understanding learners need for Music Medals musicianship tests. Includes practice tests, helpful descriptions, examples and more for the options tests that candidates choose from for their assessment:
- Call and response,
- make a tune,
- question and answer,
- sight-reading.
Wide repertoire choice for all instruments
In the assessment, each candidate performs one ensemble piece and one solo piece.
- For the ensemble, candidates choose a piece for their level from the ensemble repertoire lists.
- For the solo, candidates for all instruments can now choose a piece from the Music Medals repertoire list, or, at Bronze upwards, from a corresponding Practical or Performance Grade repertoire list.
