Graded music exams
You can take exams in over 35 instruments, singing, jazz, music theory and practical musicianship.
ABRSM practical exams provide a progressive system of assessments beginning with the Prep Test and moving up through 8 grades to diplomas. They are designed to motivate pupils and students at all levels by providing clear attainable goals. The 'grades' are recognised as international benchmarks and are valued by teachers and institutions all over the world.
The assessment programme is flexible. You can study in your own time and at your own pace and you can begin at the level that best suits you. You do not have to study at any specific institution or follow a particular course of study.
